It’s common knowledge in the Lingerie industry that 70-80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra. So learn how to measure for a bra using these simple techniques and bra measurement advice

Wearing the right size bra can do wonders for your figure and help you feel more comfortable and confident

1) Find out your chest size:
First take a deep breath and then exhale. Then,pass the measuring tape around your body immediately underneath your breasts, all the way around your back and ribcage. The tape needs to be horizontal and should not drop in the back Write down the measurement. Add five inches to that number and that is your chest size.This is your underbust or band measurement.
2) Find out your cup measurement:
Run the measuring tape all the way around your body again, this time with the tape running over the top of your breasts from at their fullest point (usually the middle of the breast), and write down your measurements.
3) Subtract the difference between your cup measurement and your chest measurement.This number will help you find your true cup size.
4) Use the following guide to determine your cup size:
- 1/2 to 1 inch = A
- 1 inch to 2 inches = B
- 2 to 3 inches = C
- 3 to 4 inches = D
- 4 to 5 inches = DD
Useful Tip: As virtually all bras are sold with even chest sizes; eg, 34,36,38 etc..you will need round up to the next size if your band size is an odd number.
